Straightening Out Canines

When Michael got braces in May of 1993, Diva was only a few weeks old. But six months later, Diva was diagnosed with a lower canine going into her palate. She had to have impressions and x-rays, just like people. "Her braces were made at a company that makes people's braces - they were excited to make a canine appliance," according to Michael's mother, Michele. For six months, Diva could not chew anything but her food. "It was very difficult keeping a puppy from chewing," says Michele.
